In our analysis, we’ve focused on the collaborative part of the process. We believe we’re going through a transition period in which traditional translation and revision processes are about to be replaced by a community way of working - what we call collaborative translation. The job will be controlled and remunerated the traditional way, but it will be brought to a larger scale and it will be far more efficient.

However, until today, we hadn’t seen the concept of crowdsourcing as it was defined and applied to translation by Jeff Howe in Wired Magazine. Ok… suspense is over.
